A field guide for the easily distracted

Go notice
something.

WildQuest makes a small outdoor mission, then gets quiet. No feed. No endless chat. Just a reason to step outside and pay attention.

How it works ↓
01the world is still out there

Choose your
conditions.

The best mission is one you will actually take. Keep it small, keep it outside.

02 / Where are you?

03 / What sounds good?
04 / Who is with you?

The short version

Less app.
More outside.

WildQuest uses AI for the part that needs a little spark—making a mission—and disappears for the part that matters.

01

Make a tiny plan

Pick a place, a pace, and a pocket of time. The local generator turns it into five gentle prompts.

02

Put it away

Trail Mode keeps only one task visible. No feed, no chat, no notifications competing for the view.

03

Bring back a story

Write a line, add a photo, or talk to your phone. Your field note is synthesized locally, for you.

Why open matters

Good AI should
know when to stop.

WildQuest is built around the open/local path: a browser-side endpoint like Ollama can run an open-weight model such as Qwen or Llama; if there is no signal, the seeded fallback still makes the experience useful.

“The screen should be the shortest part of the experience.”

⌁

Offline by design

Airplane mode is a feature, not an error state.

⊙

Private by default

Photos, voice notes, and place stay on your device.

⇄

Model-swappable

Open prompts and local endpoints keep behavior inspectable.

A note from the field

We made a companion
that lets go.

Most AI products are designed to keep you talking. WildQuest is designed to send you somewhere else. It makes a small plan, keeps your notes private, and knows the best outcome is a quiet phone in your pocket.

Try it with your Wi-Fi off. The mission generator still works.
